Two courses that may have seemed like science fiction just a few years in the past are on their means to UNBC.
Machine Learning Foundation Micro-credential and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bootcamp are two persevering with research courses that college students can now enroll in.
The Micro-credential course is a small, self-paced 12-hour course, whereas the Bootcamp is estimated to be a 450-hour dedication with lessons beginning in January.
UNBC is teaming up with Calgary-based RoboGarden to supply these lessons.
“Part of reimagining how we educate and be taught to meet the challenges of a quickly altering world is thru collaboration. Our partnership with RoboGarden to ship this on-line, instructor-supported machine learning and AI digital workforce upskilling bootcamp [which] will present residents in northern British Columbia with essentially the most up-to-date instruments and assets on this discipline,” UNBC Continuing Studies Interim Manager Stacey Linton mentioned in a launch.
“This modern partnership will empower our learners with the cutting-edge information and abilities to meet the rising wants of the workforce, each at dwelling and additional afield.”
