Elnaz Esmaeilzadeh Seylabi is an assistant professor within the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department on the University of Nevada Reno. She obtained a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (with a significant in structural mechanics and a minor in utilized arithmetic) from the University of California Los Angeles, a Master of Science in Earthquake Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology. Her analysis focuses on risk-informed engineering of civil infrastructure and creating computational strategies for environment friendly performance-based engineering and uncertainty quantification.
Project overview
The pupil will work with the college mentor and her graduate pupil to develop varied machine-learning models for fixing differential equations that govern the response of various engineering systems. Throughout the mission, the scholar will be taught the fundamentals of scientific machine learning and Python programming. The mission will assist the scholar enhance their analytical and presentation abilities important for their skilled improvement.
