FLC’s are casual alternatives for cross-disciplinary conversations about new and urgent points within the instructing of writing. In this FLC, we’ll focus on the implications of artificial intelligence, or AI, for research-based writing assignments throughout the curriculum.
AI raises pedagogical and moral questions resembling “How can I ‘AI-proof’ my assignments?”, “Should I?”, “How will I do know if college students have used AI to write a paper?”, “Is AI refined sufficient to write compelling research papers, and if not, why ought to I care?”, “Could AI presumably be an excellent factor for my instructing, and my college students’ research writing?” and “How may AI affect your individual research writing course of?”
We will focus on these and different questions, learn articles about AI writing, play with some AI writing purposes and contemplate the way you may put together for AI in your programs and your research.
